Caves and potholes in Aiguamúrcia

Aiguamúrcia, in Alt Camp, has within its municipal district the Reial Monestir de Santes Creus, one of the three great Cistercian monasteries of Catalonia, on the banks of the river Gaià. The municipality, made up of several settlements scattered across a rolling landscape transitioning toward the Muntanyes de Prades, contains a catalogue of cavities tied to this limestone, wooded setting.
