Counties with the most catalogued caves
The split is far from even: it depends mostly on geology (a limestone county packs in far more caves than a granite one) and, to a lesser extent, on how thoroughly each area has been surveyed. The counties with the most catalogued caves are Baix Llobregat, Berguedà, Vallès Occidental, Pallars Jussà and Noguera.
