Caves and shafts in Alt Penedès

Alt Penedès, known above all for its landscape of vineyards, has gentler relief than the neighboring mountain counties, which is reflected in a more moderate number of cataloged caves and potholes. The cavities found there tend to be of modest size, tied to the limestone hills that break up the agricultural plain.
