Caves with Margues lithology

Marl is a mixed rock of limestone and clay, soft and not very resistant, which tends to produce small cavities with walls that crumble easily. It’s not a terrain for long explorations, but it is a useful indicator for understanding the transition between purely calcareous zones and more clayey zones within the same county.

31 cavitats (14 coves i 17 avencs) with lithology Margues are part of the catalogue. Most are found in Santa Maria de Besora, Montferri and Corbera de Llobregat. BEVÍ, BUFADOR Nº8 DE, amb 400 m de recorregut.
