Caves and potholes in Pontons

Pontons, in the Alt Penedès, spreads across a mountainous, sparsely populated territory that forms a transition towards the Anoia comarca, well away from the wine-growing plain that characterises much of the Penedès. This more rugged relief, with limestone outcrops and dense woodland, offers a geological context conducive to the formation of cavities.
