Caves and potholes in l'Albiol

L’Albiol, in Baix Camp, is one of the small municipalities climbing the eastern slopes of the Muntanyes de Prades, on mid-mountain relief that is quite sparsely populated. This limestone, forested massif, one of the richest in cavities in the whole of southern Catalonia, defines the geological character of the municipal district and accounts for the catalogued caves and potholes found there.
