Caves and potholes in Castelló de Farfanya
Castelló de Farfanya, in the Noguera, sits on the banks of the Farfanya river, not far from Balaguer, in an agricultural plain that combines dryland and irrigated farming. The village, of medieval origin, retains remains of its old castle. The relief of the area, with limestone formations typical of the Ebre depression, gives rise to a few minor cavities recorded in the catalogue.
