Caves and potholes in Lloret de Mar

Lloret de Mar, one of the best-known municipalities on the Costa Brava, combines a coastline carved with coves and cliffs with an inland hinterland of wooded hills climbing towards the interior of the Selva. Despite the heavy tourist pressure that has transformed the seafront, the municipality retains areas of more rugged relief near the coast, where the limestone substrate gives rise to coastal cavities.
