Caves and potholes in Matadepera

Matadepera, in the Vallès Occidental, sits directly at the foot of the Sant Llorenç del Munt massif, occupying a large part of its southern slope. The conglomerate that forms the massif gives rise here to a distinctive cave catalogue, clearly different from the limestone karst more common in the rest of the comarca.
