Caves and potholes in Montcada i Reixac

Montcada i Reixac, in the Vallès Occidental, sits at the point where the Ripoll river flows into the Besòs, one of the most important transport hubs in the Barcelona metropolitan area. Despite the heavy urbanization and industrialization of the municipal area, the foothills of the serra de Collserola that reach in from the south preserve a limestone relief where some cavities are still documented.
