Caves and potholes in Rasquera

Rasquera sits on the right bank of the river Ebre, in the Ribera d’Ebre, right at the foot of the serra de Cardó, a limestone massif known for its rugged relief and its vultures. This contrast between the river plain and the immediate mountain defines the municipal area, where the karst of Cardó has given rise to a good number of catalogued cavities.
