Caves and potholes in Riu de Cerdanya

Riu de Cerdanya, in the Cerdanya, extends across the plain and slopes surrounding the upper course of the river Segre, in one of the widest and flattest sectors of the Pyrenean valley. Made up of several small rural settlements, its municipal area climbs towards the ridges that close off the Cerdanya to the south, where the mountain relief contains cavities typical of this Pyrenean setting.
