Caves and potholes in Roda de Berà

Roda de Berà, in the Tarragonès, opens onto the Mediterranean coast in a stretch where the Arc de Berà is still preserved, a Roman monument that marked the ancient Via Augusta. Its municipal area combines a coastal strip with a gentle hinterland climbing towards the interior of the comarca. Although the relief is mostly flat, the municipality contains some catalogued cavities associated with the area’s limestone outcrops.
