Caves and potholes in Montgrony

Montgrony, in Ripollès, is known above all for its pilgrimage sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de Montgrony, partly carved into the massif’s own limestone rock. This Prepyrenean relief, of both religious and hiking tradition, holds a catalog of cavities consistent with its karst substrate.
