Caves and potholes in Àger

Àger, in la Noguera, sits in a closed valley at the foot of the Serra del Montsec, the limestone massif that gives its name to several sectors with an extensive, well-developed karst system. The area’s low light pollution has also made it one of the reference points for amateur astronomy in Catalonia, with its own observatory atop the range.
