Caves and potholes in Agramunt

Agramunt, in l’Urgell, sits on the plain watered by the river Sió, in largely flat, agricultural terrain that has given it, for centuries, its tradition of nougat-making. Its old town preserves a medieval layout and the church of Santa Maria. Despite the dominance of dryland farming in the surrounding area, the municipal district includes pockets of more rugged relief where catalogued cavities are found.
