Caves and potholes in Alàs i Cerc

Alàs i Cerc, in Alt Urgell, unites the settlements of Alàs and Cerc in a municipal district located in the Segre valley, not far from la Seu d’Urgell. Its Pre-Pyrenean relief, with limestone slopes rising from the valley floor, sits within a geological context rich in cavities, as is the case for much of Alt Urgell.
