Caves and potholes in Albinyana

Albinyana, in Baix Penedès, stretches between the agricultural plain near the river Foix and the first slopes connecting with the mountain system that separates Penedès from the coast. A municipality with a winemaking tradition, it combines farmland with pockets of more rugged relief, where limestone terrain gives rise to the cavities recorded in the catalogue.
