Caves and potholes in Amposta

Amposta, the capital of Montsià, sits on the bank of the river Ebre, at the gateway to its delta, in territory dominated mostly by water and rice paddies. A sizeable city and service centre of the comarca, its municipal district also extends toward higher inland areas, where the limestone relief allows for catalogued cavities.
