Caves and shafts in Bellver de Cerdanya

Bellver de Cerdanya, the main centre of the sub-comarca of la Batllia, in south-western Cerdanya, brings together twenty-one settlements in one of the most extensive municipal districts of the comarca (98 km²). This Pyrenean mountain territory, on a south-facing continental slope, generates cavities in its limestone substrate, consistent with the other nearby Cerdanya massifs.
