Caves and potholes in Calders

Calders, in Moianès, spreads over the plateau that gives the comarca its name, a rural territory of grain fields and oak woods between Bages and Osona. Its municipal district, crossed by streams flowing toward the river Calders, retains a markedly agricultural character. The limestone substrate of this inland plateau allows for the presence of a cavity or two typical of Moianès’s gentle relief.
