Caves and potholes in Campelles

Campelles, in Ripollès, occupies a high-mountain territory in the Freser valley, near Ribes de Freser and in contact with the peaks separating the comarca from Cerdanya. Sparsely populated and with steep relief, its municipal district preserves conifer woods and high-altitude pastures. This limestone Pyrenean setting generates high-mountain cavities consistent with the landscape of the municipal district.
