Caves and potholes in Castellar de n'Hug

Castellar de n’Hug, in the Berguedà, is home within its municipal boundary to the Fonts del Llobregat, the spot where this river is born, as well as the former Ciment Asland factory, now a museum. Set at the foot of the Pyrenees, near the Pedraforca, the village sits at one of the highest points in the comarca. The limestone terrain of this Pyrenean area produces notable cavities and karst formations.
