Caves and potholes in Cava

Cava, in the Alt Urgell, is a small mountain municipality, situated in the Prepirineu in a territory close to the serra del Cadí. Its rugged relief and sparse current population have preserved a largely unaltered landscape, with scattered farmhouses and small settlements. The limestone character of this Pyrenean sector, neighboring the Cadí-Moixeró massif, favors the presence of karst cavities.
