Caves and potholes in Espot

Espot, at the heart of the Pyrenees in the Pallars Sobirà, is known above all as one of the gateways to the Parc Nacional d’Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. Its territory, largely high-mountain and granitic, combines hard rock with limestone sectors where a catalogue of cavities typical of this high-altitude Pyrenean relief has developed.
