Caves and potholes in Estamariu

Estamariu, in the Alt Urgell, stretches across a small, sparsely populated municipality in the Pyrenean foothills, not far from la Seu d’Urgell. Its mid-mountain relief, with limestone outcrops typical of this Pre-Pyrenean sector, contains a catalogue of cavities consistent with the comarca’s karst landscape.
