Caves and potholes in Juncosa

Juncosa, in the Garrigues, stretches across a rural municipality of inland Lleida, with a landscape of olive and almond groves typical of this dryland comarca, in one of the most arid sectors of Catalonia. Despite the predominantly gentle relief, the municipality contains local limestone formations that account for the catalogue of cavities recorded there.
