Caves and potholes in Miravet

Miravet, in the Ribera d’Ebre, rises above a spectacular bend of the Ebre river, crowned by its castle of Templar origin, one of the most notable in Catalonia. The steep relief surrounding the village, with cliffs falling directly to the river, extends towards the nearby ranges over limestone terrain, where the cave catalogue reflects this landscape that is at once fluvial and mountainous.
