Caves and potholes in Moià

Moià, capital of the Moianès, sits on an inland plateau that forms a junction between the comarques of the Bages, Osona and the Vallès Oriental. Known for its old beech forest and for the nearby Abocador de Can Mata palaeontological site, its municipal area spreads over rolling, limestone relief typical of this plateau, where the cave catalogue records several karst formations.
