Caves and potholes in Montferri

Montferri, in the Alt Camp, is best known for its striking sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de Montserrat, the work of modernist architect Josep Maria Jujol. Beyond this heritage landmark, its municipal area extends across a low-mountain relief that separates the Camp de Tarragona from the Penedès, with scattered karst formations included in the area’s cave catalogue.
