Caves and potholes in la Morera de Montsant

La Morera de Montsant, at 743 metres above sea level, is the highest village and the largest municipality of the historical Priorat, and hosts the headquarters of the Parc Natural de la Serra de Montsant. The massif, made of limestone conglomerates rising above 1,100 metres at the summit of the Roca Corbatera, is known for its numerous rock shelters, caves and spectacular gorges – one of the richest karst terrains in southern Catalonia.
