Caves and potholes in Olesa de Montserrat

Olesa de Montserrat, in the Baix Llobregat, sits at the foot of the southern slope of the Montserrat massif, on the bank of the Llobregat river, and is known for its Passion play, one of the oldest theatrical performances in Catalonia. Its territory climbs the conglomerate buttresses of the mountain, a distinctive relief that also contains karst formations within the cave catalogue.
