Caves and potholes in Organyà

Organyà, in the Alt Urgell, sits in the Segre valley where the river cuts through the spectacular cliffs of the gorge, with the Roc del Portell towering over the village. Known for the Homilies d’Organyà, one of the oldest texts in the Catalan language, the town coexists with a steep limestone relief typical of the pre-Pyrenees, which forms the natural base of numerous cavities.
