Caves and potholes in el Papiol

El Papiol, in the Baix Llobregat, sits on the right bank of the river, enclosed between the watercourse and the southern slopes of the serra de Collserola. This location, which combines alluvial plain and wooded low mountain, contains karst formations associated with the limestone materials of Collserola, in a strongly peri-urban municipality close to Barcelona.
