Caves and potholes in Riba-roja d'Ebre

Riba-roja d’Ebre, in the Ribera d’Ebre, rises above the course of the river Ebre, right at the reservoir that bears its name, one of the river’s major hydroelectric dams. Its municipal area, of dry and sparsely populated relief, climbs towards the foothills that separate the Ebre valley from the Terra Alta. This rugged landscape contains catalogued cavities typical of the sector.
