Caves and potholes in Roquetes

Roquetes, in the Baix Ebre, became independent from Tortosa in 1850 and today is the administrative seat of the Parc Natural dels Ports, with the park’s visitor centre located within its municipal area. This status directly reflects its geography: much of the municipality extends across the limestone massif of the Ports, with one of the most important cave catalogues in southern Catalonia.
