Caves and potholes in Sant Jaume de Frontanyà

Sant Jaume de Frontanyà, in the Berguedà, is one of the smallest and least populated municipalities in Catalonia, known for its notable 11th-century Romanesque collegiate church, one of the finest examples of Pyrenean Romanesque architecture. Its territory, high mountain with steep limestone relief, surrounded by the ranges that separate the Berguedà from the Ripollès, contains catalogued cavities typical of this Pre-Pyrenean setting.
