Caves and potholes in Sant Llorenç Savall

Sant Llorenç Savall, at the foot of the Sant Llorenç del Munt massif, has documented human presence since the Neolithic – flint tools found in the caves of Simanya and de la Canal bear witness to this. Its municipal area, within the natural park, shares the same conglomerate bedrock that produces the catalogue of cavities typical of the whole massif.
