Sant Quirze Safaja, in the Moianès, is one of the smallest and least populated municipalities in the comarca, set on mid-mountain terrain between the Moianès and the Vallès Oriental. Its rural municipal area, of forest and pasture, preserves scattered rural heritage alongside a discreet limestone relief where some cavities from the catalogue are documented.
