Caves and potholes in Ulldecona

Ulldecona, in the Montsià, has an origin dating back more than 8,000 years, evidenced by the Levantine rock art of the serra de Godall, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998. This same range, a continuation of the massís dels Ports to the south, generates a limestone karst here with a notable catalogue of cavities.

The catalogue includes 27 cavitats (18 coves i 9 avencs) in Ulldecona. CASTELLETS, AVENC DELS, amb 80 m de recorregut.
