Caves and potholes in Vallfogona de Ripollès

Vallfogona de Ripollès, in the Ripollès, is remembered for the Baroque poet Francesc Vicenç Garcia, popularly known as the Rector of Vallfogona. Its territory, set in a sparsely populated, largely forested mid-mountain Pyrenean relief, holds a catalogue of cavities consistent with the geology of this area close to the heart of the Ripollès.
