Caves and potholes in Vilanova de Meià

Vilanova de Meià, at an altitude of 633 metres, is considered the capital of the Montsec de Rúbies, one of the three main sectors of the Serra del Montsec, and is home to the Centre d’Interpretació del Montsec de Meià. Its territory, set within the limestone massif itself, holds a notable catalogue of cavities, consistent with the extensive karst that characterises the whole of the Montsec.
