Caves and potholes in Vilanova de Sau

Vilanova de Sau, in Osona, is known above all for the pantà de Sau, the reservoir on the riu Ter which in times of drought lets the bell tower of the old Romanesque church of Sant Romà de Sau, now in ruins, emerge. The municipality, at the entrance to the massís del Collsacabra, combines this reservoir landscape with a limestone mountain relief where several cavities are catalogued.
