Caves and potholes in Vilaverd

Vilaverd, in the Conca de Barberà, sits on the bank of the riu Francolí, right at the point where the river crosses the gorge separating the conca from the plana del Camp de Tarragona. This natural passage, hemmed in between limestone reliefs, has historically been a key communication route and contains a number of catalogued cavities.
