Caves and potholes in Pla d'Urgell

Pla d’Urgell is the irrigated agricultural plain, transformed by the Canal d’Urgell in the 19th century, that gives the county its name. With very little calcareous relief, the catalog records only a token presence of cavities there, a direct reflection of the scarce karst terrain in this essentially flat territory.
