Caves and shafts in Bagà

Bagà, in Berguedà, is a well-preserved medieval town, located at the confluence of the rivers Bastareny and Llobregat, which forms a natural gateway toward the Cadí-Moixeró massif and Pedraforca. This high-mountain limestone setting, one of the most speleologically rich in the Catalan Pyrenees, accounts for the municipal district’s remarkable catalogue of cavities.
