Caves and potholes in Bossòst

Bossòst, in Val d’Aran, sits in the lower Aran valley, on the bank of the river Garona and a few kilometres from the French border, at one of the valley’s historically busiest crossing points. Its Pyrenean relief on the Atlantic-facing slope, with limestone substrate at certain elevations, contains catalogued cavities typical of this singular setting.
