Caves and potholes in Canejan
Canejan, in Val d’Aran, is the northernmost municipality of the comarca and of all Catalonia, with its municipal district touching the French border amid the central Pyrenees. Made up of several small mountain settlements, it preserves well-kept traditional Aranese architecture. Its high-mountain relief, with limestone sectors amid the granite that predominates in the area, allows for the formation of a Pyrenean cavity or two.
