Caves and potholes in Capçanes

Capçanes, in Priorat, is known above all for its cooperative winery, one of the oldest and most renowned in the comarca, surrounded by vineyards climbing the slopes of the Serra de Llaberia. The municipal district, with rugged relief and llicorella soils typical of Priorat, combines Mediterranean woodland with small farming terraces. This mountainous limestone relief contains cavities typical of the Llaberia massif.
