Caves and shafts in Casserres
Casserres, in Berguedà, sits on the bank of the river Llobregat, between Berga and Puig-reig, in territory that combines a fertile valley floor with the steeper slopes surrounding it. The village preserves remains of the old Augustinian monastery of Santa Maria de Casserres.
